Insects as animal feed

In partnership with UC Louvain, we've spearheaded a groundbreaking research project focused on the utilization of black soldier fly larvae in animal nutrition. We've developed specialized pellets for trout feed, using black soldier fly larvae as a key ingredient.

These pellets not only provide an eco-friendly alternative to traditional fish feed but also offer exceptional nutritional benefits. Rich in high-quality proteins and healthy fats, the pellets enhance the health and growth of trouts while reducing the environmental impact of aquaculture.

Fertilizer

Frass, the remarkable by-product of our black soldier fly larvae, is not just any waste; it's a potent and eco-friendly fertilizer. Composed of nutrient-dense organic matter, frass is an excellent soil conditioner that enriches land and enhances plant growth naturally.

Rich in chitin. Chitin holds significant promise in agriculture as a component of biostimulants and natural pest control agents, promoting sustainable and eco-friendly farming practices. Its biodegradability and plant-growth-promoting properties make it a valuable resource for enhancing agricultural productivity while minimizing environmental impacts.
